What to expect after

The healing journey,
day by day.

The single biggest surprise for first-timers is that brows look bold at first, then soften. Here's exactly what happens, so nothing catches you off guard.

Days 1–2
Bold & fresh

Brows look darker and sharper than the final result. This is normal, the color softens as it heals.

Days 3–5
Darkening

Pigment oxidizes and can look its most intense around day 4. Resist the urge to judge the result yet.

Days 6–10
Light flaking

A thin layer flakes away naturally. Never pick, let it shed on its own to protect the pigment underneath.

Days 11–28
The "ghost" phase

Brows may look faint as the skin settles. Color resurfaces over the following weeks, don't panic.

Final softened color emerges, roughly 30% lighter than day 1. This is when we book your touch-up if needed.

I trained in both main techniques (powder and nano) specifically so I could match the technique to you. Sometimes that means I recommend a different option than you came in for. Sometimes it means I tell you to wait. Honesty above upsell — always.

What if it ends up looking fake or too dark?+
It won't, because of how I work: I always start lighter than the final result. Pigment darkens for the first week, then settles 30-40% lighter as it heals. Your touch-up is when we add density if needed but most clients ask for less darkness, not more. The whole system is designed to err on the side of natural.
How do I know which technique is right for me?+
That's exactly what the free consultation is for. I'll examine your skin (oily skin holds pigment differently than dry), discuss your lifestyle, look at your existing shape, and recommend the technique that will give you the best result. Sometimes that's powder, sometimes nano. Sometimes I recommend none of the above and that's fine too.
How much does it really hurt?+
Mild comparable to tweezing. Most clients describe pressure rather than pain. We take breaks. You can ask me to pause anytime. The 2-2.5 hour appointment exists specifically so we can take it slow.
What if I've had bad work done elsewhere before?+
A meaningful portion of my clients are correction work. Bring photos to your consultation and I'll tell you honestly whether I can improve it, whether we need to wait for fading first, or whether removal is the right call before any new work. No upsell, no false promises.
Is there really no deposit required?+
Correct. The 15-minute consultation is completely free, no deposit, no obligation. Zero financial commitment.
What's actually included in the price?+
First session ($400): consultation review, custom mapping & design, full procedure, premium pigments, and detailed healing instructions. Touch-up one year later ($150): refinement of shape, density and color so your look stays exactly as you love it.
Who is NOT a good candidate?+
Pregnant or nursing women, anyone on blood thinners, people with active skin conditions in the treatment area, those who've had Botox in the forehead within 2 weeks, anyone with a history of keloid scarring. We'll review your full medical context during the consultation to make sure it's safe.
